The patented PCM CoolOver vest, manufactured in the Netherlands, provides constant cooling at approximately 21 °C (70 °F). It is designed for professionals working in hot environments—such as firefighters, individuals in chemical protective suits, operating rooms, or mascot costumes—who require advanced cooling beneath protective clothing. The vest features a “one size fits most” design without textile wrapping and is easy to clean or sterilize, making it particularly suitable for both industrial and healthcare settings.
It is filled with 100% biobased phase-change material (PCM) and is certified USDA Biobased and REACH compliant. Activation is done by placing the vest in ice water, a freezer, a refrigerator, or a room below 18 °C until the material becomes fully solid. This provides up to approximately 3 hours of effective cooling during intense physical activity and high-temperature conditions.
With adjustable buckles that fit chest sizes up to about 120 cm, along with low weight and a durable construction, this vest is an effective choice for anyone working in hot, demanding environments.

Reactivating the vest is easy. Hang the PCM CoolOver at a temperature 3ºC lower than the PCM temperature, or place it flat in ice water, freezer or refrigerator until the PCM CoolOver is completely solid and ready to use again. The vest can be "recharged" 10,000 times.
